Do you have a house or a home? Generally, house is simply just a building for people to live in whereas home is more than a place where one lives with family in a homely comfortable environment. The fact is that there are indeed a vast contrast between a house and a home for an individual.

The truth is that when a house is not a home for anyone of us, there will be the absence of love among family members which plays a role in fostering harmonious family. Automatically, this scenario leads to a family with no joy, no laughter with just plainly sad atmosphere in every members of the family. No show of affection, no feelings and totally unconcerned about the goings on in a particular family will just take place if a house is not a home. Not leaving out that, there will be no sharing among members of the family as the thoughts of individualistic has overpowered their strong love affection towards the family if a house is not a home.

It is possible that there will be no communication, no basic courtesies and no exchange of pleasantries come to pass between family members. Each one is totally immersed in themselves with all their personal affairs of life as well as their planning for their very own future imparting no bonding between members of family. If a house is not a home, parents neglect children emotionally and spiritually by just providing material needs and not allocating quality time with children. The children will have their own world with their own way of living up to it if parents still persist to be too absorbed in themselves. Basically, what is the point of having a luxurious house and not a home which is a necessity for the hearts of this 21st century generation?

On the contrary, a house is a home when there is a love, affection and understanding showing up themselves in the environment of a family. With that, there will be the nature of give and take by not being calculative in a particular family with sensational emotions instead of emptiness in their hearts which is thirsting for the love of a family. Laughter and joy is all it is that ignites the sparks of a happy family creating a perfect home especially in these days of modernization and urbanization. Sharing and concerning in times of happiness and sorrow along with the willingness to forgive and forget will be one of the best way to create a home in a house. If a house is a home, every members of the family are often prepared to stretch out a helping hand in times of need and unquestioning love is ever there for everyone no matter what are the circumstances of life.

If a house is a home, sacrifices are made by members of family by not laying out any conditions and returns in doing something for the family. Family need not to be wealthy to do all that but with what they have endowed with is more than enough to made house to be a home. Furthermore luxuries in a house do not make up the home but just a live-in-atmosphere. If a house is a home, it made us always think of home often enough and wish to be back with the members of a family. Homely feeling is instilled plus sense of belonging and appreciation will lead to a resurgence for the desire to return to be with the family.

A house is not a home when the place is devoid of human love emotion. A house is a home when it is a sanctuary of maturity and emotional stability.

        The exam fever has arrived for this whole of this and next month. I have strived earnestly in doing my first-rate preparation for this diagnostic test. High expectations and hopefulness to score flying colour results was positioned in my mind and my heart. This is because if I not make the grade in this SPM examinations, the future will just vanish and nowhere to be found. You wouldn't understand the grant source and reasons hidden behind it. On the first day of the exam month, I was not able to finish my Malay essay-writing which is Paper 1 and the worst case scenario was I couldn't finish until a quarter of Paper 2. As I was stepping out of the exam hall, my heart was so burdened as it has increased its weight to a thousands tons as well as my emotions was so messed up and I cant define them with my words for my words are too limited, it was like the world had turn upside down. My special friend (ahem) who understand me the most came to me. She tried her utmost best to comfort and to soothe me not to behave like this. I can see and feel in my heart that she was so worried about me. She said " If you want to cry it out please call me, I don't want you to cry alone, carrying this load all by yourself. Share it with me. We can march with triumph over this conflict together, walking side by side, not leaving each other out not even a single glimpse of eyes." These words from her had touched my heart until I can feel them in my nerves rigorously and it left a positive mark in my heart. When I arrived home, I can't endure the knotty and thorny prickled my heart causing a sour taste running through in my mind.  The droplets of water start to roll down swiftly from my eyes hitting the stacks of the naive paper generating a loud sound to be heard in my eyes. The situation was getting critical and I cant resist them, so I picked up my phone and call her to cry out to her from the inside out without holding back anything for about 15 minutes. I pour out all my thoughts on what should I do now for the THINGY is getting nearer, disarray feelings not leaving a single and diminutive thing. I promised her not to.........(to keep everything short) Similarly, on the second day, I couldn't finish my English paper 1 which is the essay writing part. I felt the same thing again and the whole story is the same.  I just don't know what happened to me?? I have studied so hard without neglecting any things fundamental in my life and all in my mind I know that I'm not prepare for this Diagnostic Exam. I just couldn't help myself.I can't get a hold of myself. I cant gasp the changes that have taken place in a too haste pace. God are you leaving me alone in this world?

        Serious accidents occurring on road is a matter of great concern for all of us. Road crash fatalities are something we hear a lot about–newsreaders give us the road toll almost as often as the cricket score. Newspaper is jam-packed with the headlines about horrendous road accidents arise every single moment in our country during this era of revolution. Let's just face it, accidents might just sprout out just in a glimpse of an eye without any notifications, for instance, the express bus tragedy which just plainly human error has bring about an awful and nasty car-lorry crash, snatching away precious sheer life of innocent people. What a heart rending scenario? After all, can you see the necessities of outstanding road safety for the secure of road users in Malaysia? Do you really want to see the roads in Malaysia being polluted by red stains and crashed objects?

         Road safety should be everyone's concern from young to old. Road users such as pedestrians, motorcyclist and drivers should respect and obey traffic rules as well as they should understand the power of wheels. Roads are means of communication for all people,goods and services to be transported in and out of the country. Road safety is fundamental to ensure safety for people, goods to be unspoilt and unbroken plus services well carried out from one place of origin to specific destination.

         Apparently, pedestrian ought to use the road properly as the roads now in the cities are stuff with ample amount of vehicles. Despite of that motorist and motorcyclists must be cautious of the road useful by the act of value life and lives of others which are not guilty. For instance, roads should not be consider as a illegal racing tracks which post a perilous to other road users who are in the clear.

        During festive seasons, express bus and lorry drivers have to know their own limit on the highway and not abuse their bodies and skills making thoughtless act which may causes hideous accidents to other road users. Vehicles should be properly maintained and serviced from to time to time to ensure first-rate road safety in Malaysia. For examples, brakes functioning well, engine which are road worthy and tyres must be at top-knob condition.

        Enforcement division should be taken place as an alternative to certify the outstanding road safety. Rule of law and justice should prevailed over the off beam deed of road users and the law breakers on the road. It is very true that there should be the presence of of strict enforcement with a continual constant process at a particular pace. If you break the law of the road, you have to pay concurrent fines for the misdeeds. Not even a discount or a reduction in road fines for you doesn't matter who you are, this message has to be delivered to the public.

       In a nut shell,there should be no mercy for road hogs, road bullies, inconsiderate road drivers or life-defying road racers. Road safety is not other's problem but it is everyone's concern.

          Hue and a cry over discipline in schools. Everyone wants his say in this knotty issue. Who is right ? Teachers, students and parents. Everyone is right! This scenario has gradually become an headache for the civilians not to mention the ministers in Malaysia.

           Discipline has always remains to be a sensitive issue since the time immemorial. There are people who advocates for the cane and there are the advocates for counselling. Bascially, everyone is just in a predicament  in discovering an alternate solution to this matter above. Present school situation, publicity are given to discipline. In addition, students are more vocal these days just because of the encouragement from parents, politicians and the media in this secular world.

            From the past, grandparents and great-great grandparents as well as the word of the teacher was law for the students during those days. Parents wholly support and gave mandate to teachers by not holding anything back to instil outstanding discipline. Cane ruled the school and home fronts without any objection from any parties. Boys have no complaints and girls are too protected to misbehave from the past.

             Nonetheless, at present, there are the presence of overprotective parents in this multiracial society over zealous public figures and media which converge on the school authorities. Nowadays, a simple case of indiscipline are out of proportion and they necessitate a proper approach and measure. Parents and school in this era of modernization should have a revolution in their attitudes because they have a role to play in a appropriate investigation.

            The Rule Book has evidently explains the teacher's role and part of teacher's  portfolio in curbing discipline conflicts among students. First rate discipline has to be enforced to ensure effectual teaching and to avoid disruptive to learning process during the school time. On the other hand, in modern trend, canning is less suitable sometimes as it creates a sense of abusive to the students.

            Is caning the best way ? Based on my evaluation, I would say yes. Despite the fact that caning stops indiscipline, it should adhere to the code of discipline plus teachers ought to know their limits in doing so. Apart from that, we can use child manipulative to maintain superb discipline in school. Usually, educators know the child well by establishing a special bond between the students. They need to give in sometimes yet maintaining discipline.

            As a winding up, the Minister of Education should reinstate caning as a function to deterrent cases of indiscipline but not to humiliate and disgrace the students. Thus, effective learning process can take place in every schools                 

    This walk of life is predestined for all of us. I just cannnot persevere and keep trying under this scenario for I have goofed up dreadfully. I felt so depressed and despair in my nerves plus my heart is so burdened and troubled, all I can do is just to cry out deep down from my heart. The time I have allocated by sacrificing all my favourite activities in my life as well as the masses of effort I have put it in my studies is all wasted like a piece of shit that brings no improvement on even a single subject. Personally, I have no idea what is happening to me this year. The year of 2008 to me consists of more downs than ups to me. Ai yo...How should I response to this situation??
